the harley is most definatly staying....:D at least i'll have a pair of black bikes. does anybody do a cover to fit over a gs. supose im going to try and keep it a bit presentable:thumb for a while:augie yes i do enjoy riding the be em but the v rod is something else. lucky to have 2 totaly different bikes.

Nothing wrong with your rod mate, I will openly admit that for a HD its a nice bike, it really is.
How did the mrs take it when you told her the news of the new family member then? It really is a nice gs isnt it, are you trading your yellow one in against it then ?

I realy have had enough of here bike changing habits...cost a fortune.
 
its a done deal. cheque handed over, its only done 13 miles since mot last september. taxed next tuesday, collect friday afternoon if i can get time off. otherwise i'll be outside shop at 8 am saturday morning. not trading yellow one in because it was sale on behalf of customer. got to sell that one myself so at the moment i've got 3 bikes. mrs chewey is not jumping for joy but i still have a roof over my head. i started the conversation with " i'm going to sell the yellow bmw" and she finished it with "when are you going to grow up" grow old yes, grow up never.

Was speakin to Mike yesterday Chewey as was down there again admiring your new bike, asked him if you had broken the news to your mrs, he said that he didnt think so. He gave me the nice A3 size picture of a guy on a gsa that he had put on it :thumb
 
phew...think i got away with it. bit of groveling, out for sunday lunch and dragged around a few shops while i would have rather been out on the bike.
 
Blue and white 1150gs for sale in Bembridge :eek: Spotted it on Wightbay and could possibly be in this wk's county press and weekly ad.

First Chris out towards Tapnell
Then a 07 yellow 1 going along Forest Rd (don't know)
And not long after that Stigo at Wootton.
And i was stuck in a lorry all day:mad:

hi isle of man'ers, :clap
me and 8 other friends will be arriving on the iom on friday 25th for a dcmc club (darlington central motorcyle club :beerjug::beer:) ride out. we will be staying till monday morning. amongst our bikers, there is a full cross section of bikes, but only me on my most fabulous GSA1200 :bow.
my wife will be on her hognr/hugnd/hondgre :nenau! blackbird.
theres a cruiser :ymca, a fjr a fj, and others.:jes
looking forward to seeing the sights :hide. and giving the tosser :tosser wave to you GS islanders
