Spring strut question

Guys/Gals, never done one myself (but will shortly be doing so) but is the spring strut (front and back) on the 1200LC able to be disassembled (like normal spring struts) using standard equipment (i.e. a spring compressor?).

Reason being is that I’m thinking of lowering my bike by replacing the springs but know nothing about the units themselves - even my BMW RSD only goes as far as replacing the whole unit (shocker - excuse the pun - there eh).

I’ve got all the gear (but no idea ) to recalibrate the ride height sensor etc etc.

Another one for Denzo, he lowered mine and serviced shocks last year, good work, quick turnaround.
