Hi, does anyone know how the showa and wp springs differ?
Just wondering as my bike (2011 GSA) has wp suspension with lowered hyperpro springs, but looking at the paperwork etc that I got with it the springs part numbers are for the showa springs. So wondering whether they are the same or if it's lower our taller than it should be if that makes sense
Was thinking of getting Wilbers on it as the front shock is leaking at the mo but wondering what length to get, I was thinking -35mm as that should be about where the bike is with the hyperpro springs, but only if they are the same between showa and wp!
Cheers all

You could try giving John at Revs suspension a call.
He is very knowledgeable and was really helpful when I fitted Wilbur's to my lowered GS.

I have the Showa GS shocks on my GSA. The GS has a harder spring with less static sag than the GSA.
The GSA copes better with corrugated roads pretty much floating over compared to the GS which feels harsh even set to soft damping.
