Gents,

The rear shock on my 25000 mile 1150 GS has developed a very slight squeak. It is definitely the piston within the shock, as opposed to the linkage.

When I spray the inside bit with water, it goes away for a short time till the water dries.

I was going to give it a dose of WD40 but I read somewhere that this knackers the seals.

Any suggestions as to a long term cure (apart from a new shock)

Cheers

are you sure it's the shock? paralever bearings creak when they're on the way out. There are some people reckon that the standard showa shocks are only good for 25k anyway.
