Can anyone recomend somewhere to purchase a single rear brake pipe for the 1150 GS, 2001 model, ABS but not with servo.

I was going to settle for the dealer option but then everyone seems to recomend stainless for a replacement. I might as well do it if I can source one.

I am looking for just the single rear flexible pipe and washers and not the whole front and rear kit which is what I can find lots of.

Tried Goodridge direct but they only do a full kit for the ABS 1150.

Looking at motorworks web site the hose doesn't look right but it is a good price.

The oem part has two right angle banjo joins whereas the Motorworks part has one right angle join and one straight join.

Try http://www.probrake.de/ in Germany.

If they don't have it in stock, they will make one from the original.

I ordered a clutch bleed pipe from them, which they had to make specially at that time, on a Sunday evening and received it the following Thursday.

Very good quality and service.

Hope this helps

Mike

Keeping it British, try: http://www.venhill.co.uk/Bespoke_Hoses_and_Cables/Custom_Brake_and_Clutch_Lines

I used to keep various fittings in the workshop plus hose. A lot of stainless hoses don't use stainless fittings. With Venhill you can have stainless banjo's and bolts too. If you dont want hassle, get them to do it but remember to state the exact length centre-centre, the exact angle of the banjo's and also the orientation eg 90 deg out or whatever. If they make the lines 'flat' and it needs an angle they won't fit.

Thanks to Hubs on this one. The supply of a stainless hose has quickly got me back on the road. Also many thanks to James Sherlock who supplied the four banjo washers free gratis and next day delivery.
