Over the past few months I've noticed that my 1200 GS, (2008), has stalled quite easily. I first noticed this on the off road course for the Touratech weekend. It would stall in second far too easily for an engine with such torque.
I'm quite sure this new and I've not experienced it in the 18 months I've had the bike.
It's not as if there's any warning of a stall, it's just bang-gone.

Could I just need a flush through with some Redex, or does this sound familiar to anyone:augie

It ain't a 1955 Panther so max' torque isn't at 500rpm and there's not a coal seam developing in the head that needs Redex to shift it.

If it's stalling more than it used to it may be worth doing a TPS reset just because it's v. easy and may just help a tad'. If there's nothing else wrong with the bike and it's always been like this I'd have to suggest it may be your riding style as the GS is not a stump pulling diesel.

If it has got worse since you've had the bike then a service and a plug in may be worth a go

Had some issues similar not long back, YMMV, but my local BMW shop checked and sorted my fuel injectors, been bang on ever since :D
