I have found that the endplate on the right side of the centre stand is fouling the propshaft housing/swinging arm so gouging into the aluminium alloy. The indentation in the alloy is about 0.5mm deep.
The ride height is set at the mid point and so I would expect the fouling to be worse at a lower setting. At standstill with the centre stand up it has a few mmm clearance, so I assume that it takes a hit over bumps when the suspension extends in rebound.
The dealer has ordered up a new cover(think he means housing but I have not taken the thing apart so am unsure of the construction)and a stop bracket which is attached to the exhaust.
I am not very confident that this will do the job, it seems that the two parts may have a geometric interference which should have been resolved in design.
Anyone found a similar problem?
