Starcom1 - Set Up Advice

Hi Guys,

I have a Starcom1 Digital for Rider and Pillion.

I usually ride 1 up. I have Garmin satnav connected to the Starcom unit and plugged into the AUX port. I listen to music from the Garmin. 1 up everything works fine.

Me and Mrs and going off to France next week so I thought I'd set things up for pillion. I have found that with the music coming in through the AUX port you don't get the benefit of VOX interruption. Have you found the same?

So I plugged the Satnav into the MUSIC1 port. Contrary to the instruction book whilst rider is ok the pillion cannot hear music in this config. Is this due to the music source (SD card in Garmin)? Wrong lead? Something else?

I'm guessing VOX only works when the music input is into the music port - correct?

Any help much appreciated.

The VOX is for 2 way radio. Try setting up the volumes individually using the buttons on the unit. BTW have you got a manual ?. if not you can download it off starcom`s website.
