Stator

Are the stats re the stator earlier in the thread correct for a 2013 bike with the 15 winding stator ? Seems many are quoting 35 amps for that era bike, not far off the 32 mentioned above. The later bikes have a 21 winding stator which I suspect has a higher rating to give it some overhead.
Unless the op will send me his vin, its purley the generic figure offered by the RSD i have
 
Out`n`about today on my 1250 i remembered this thread so copped a feel of my reg/rec...
It was warm as expected but i could comfortably hold my hand on it, i estimate it to be only about ~35 degrees.
The connector was a similar temperature as it`s part of the reg/rec body.
I could not feel any additional heat in the wiring (cold to touch) so i think you have a right to be concerned about those three yellows that are too hot to hold and measured at 95C.
I still think you have an issue downstream of the reg/rec but without wiring diagrams it could be very difficult to say where..
 
Any news on the hot wires problem?
