Stebel Magnum Horn Question

Gents,

Quick question.

I bought a Stebel Magnum horn for fitting to my 1150 GS.

There are no relays with it.

Is it OK to just connect it to the two existing wires that run to the original horn, without causing problems like fuses blowing?

Did that with mine over two years ago, no problems.

Or is mine the Nautilus?????????

Horn

Just connect it to the original horn leads it will work but might be better with heavyer (is that a word?) wiring is used and fit a relay next to your new horn.
Take a fused feed from the battery to the new relay and wiore relay to the new horn. Connect the relay coil to the original horn leads and put in your ear plugs and try it!. I did this and the thicker wiring improved performance
definately loosend any ear wax!.

I'd say you can get a connector from BMW, like North did in his thread, but I'm still waiting for it to turn up.

Will post details when I know it's all gonna work. (I'm fitting 2 magnums, possibly under the beak, but more likely exactly as North did on his thread - haven't decided yet)
