Thought I'd let you know what I have done to fit a Stebel Nautilus to my 56 reg GS1200.
As mentioned in the other thread, the Nautus is a big lump and I could not get it to fit safely without touching other components like brake lines etc....
I have separated the compressor from the horn and covered it in black shrink wrap to stop any water ingress, its fitted just in front of the tank sideways on and just behind the forks, cable-tied securely in position with the air outlet at the bottom.
The original horn was removed and the new plastic double horn unit fitted as high as possible and cable-tied in position centrally between the forks and brake lines.
From B&Q, I bought some small plastic tubing and connectors from the home brew kit section, fitted a right angle connector into the hole left in the horn unit and sealed it with silicone and a cable-tie.
Connect the two together with as short a length of tube as possible and wire it in with a slave relay direct from the battery via a fuse.
It gives a great noise and does not interfere with any other components, linkages wiring or hoses. Keep the tubing as short as poss to ensure there is no time lag.
Hope this is of use . The pictures should clear it up.
