Stelvio.

we sold one , had it in for a warranty claim ( x 6 ) , put the trade plate on it and took it out for a spin round Wimbledon ! ( on slicks ).

Did you ever find a fix for the loose nut behind the handlebars ? :DD

I've just been to pick up the Stelvio. A very cold wet ride at 8.30 this morning. It's 57 miles from mine to Teasdales. On the way there on the R1250r I got to thinking, why am I getting rid of this bike? It goes well, it handles well, clutch is light, engine and gearbox are lovely. Heated grips are the best I've ever experienced on a bike. Overall the R1250r is a fabulous motorcycle. But, it didn't really make me smile, I never got off it and looked back. I never read or looked at video's about it. I had no inkling to tinker with it.
Cup of coffee and the paperwork done at Teasdales, jumped on the Stelvio and it was like putting on an old pair of slippers. I immediately felt at ease. The cold, damp and filthy roads did not spoil my ride home. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
A quick covering in foam, a jet wash off and a blast with the dryer. It now looks almost as good as when I picked it up. The shed is now home to 3 Guzzi's and I love them all. Roll on some better weather.

Looks great in black, doesn’t it?

Second dibs. 😁

Yes, bring on the better weather, that bike will give you a lot of pleasure.
