Just seen the picture in MCN of the new Triumph mcqueen bonneville, what a Bike. 10/10

Its a green Bonneville with a single seat.
Or am I missing something.

I don't think Triumph would be so cynical as to knock out a Steve McQueen edition simply to gain marketing capital from an icon of cool, to a fat-walleted boomer generation looking to rediscover a sense of youthful excitement, vigour and self-confidence, eroded over a lifetime of disappointments and crushed dreams?
That would be like knocking out a special edition white F800R with blue stripes, and subtly suggesting that a little of Chris Pfeiffer's stunt skill essence was powder-coated onto each one.

No doubt in the "McQueen triumph" parts catalogue will be a nice set of film star teeth and a stylish hairpeice to complete the look.

Yeah right
Er? Not quite the Steve McQueen I remember![]()
Er ?, . The catalogue teeth and hair isn't for steve Mcqueen, it's for the wannabes.
exactly
I doubt it![]()

I had a 2005 T100 and it was pretty much the most boring motorcycle I have ever owned (perhaps with the exception of the virago) and I have owned literally dozens of bikes. The T100 did everything quite well but it was soooooooooo bland.
Horses for courses, I suppose. I have a 50th Anniversary T100 Bonnie and it's a delight to ride - done about 5000 miles on it this year, as opposed to just over 2000 on my 1150 GS. The Triumph is great for bimbling down to the seaside for a coffee - longer trips require the GS, of course
