As long as it's waterproof and you don't bash it off with your knee! Just tell the bike shop bullshitters it's variable boost and it's really 'ard 'cos it goes to 11

I've learnt that lesson already

Mount it using some two sided velcro. That way even if you forget / knock it if shouldn't damage the TPS.
