Stolen goods

The police and council are spineless IMO. the police due to 'dongiveafekkedness unless it looks good on my cv or is an easy nick' attitude and the council have had there backbone removed by social services and the legions of bunny huggers they employ.

Shep....it's probably more to do with the law and how pointless it is to nick a pikey....no record, no name, no history, 'rights' and free very good lawyers from the 'Gypsey council' or whatever.....

I've no doubt Plod would LOVE to be able to deal with them effectively....:nenau

Any plod care to comment on this?

Guys, sorry, just thought that in the `vendors` section other members might be made aware of the stolen stuff if offered it.

Apologies if my logic was wrong.

regards,

mark.

I've been offered a car stereo, a food mixer, DVD's and some large carpet offcuts left over from an office fit out. I'm i posting this in the correct section to find out if they're stolen.

Then the law is an ass

They gained access onto private land and set up camp, had that land been in front of the police station or council offices or town park they would have been moved on PDQ.

Too right, once the buggers are on private land neither the police nor the council want to know. It's up to the landowner to get shot of them, which requires expense with solicitors and courts.

The police don't like dealing with them because they argue and fight, so the police need to have most of available bodies in the area to move them on.

A pikey invasion was one of my major concerns when running the mobile home park, they were always sniffing about the place.

Why do pikeys need a BBQ set, don't the caravan's have a kitchen installed?

Bill there are so many variables when it comes to dealing with gypsies, it's very much each incident as it occurs.
For example prior to PACE I didn't bother booking gypsies for motoring offences because whatever address they gave the summons would never get served and the reports used to come bouncing back, it was more trouble than it was worth, post PACE I could and did arrest them for anything from a bald tyre to parking on a zebra crossing because then it was charge and bail them to a court (after getting the same unsuitable address:rolleyes:) if they failed to answer bail a warrant was issued and then you could march them to court.
Our local gypsy camp 'Cwmcrachen' was/is relatively small and it wasn't unusual for one of us to attend single crew then, the site mentioned previously at Baglan Port Talbot is huge and the one between Newport and Cardiff is even bigger, unless things have changed and I doubt that, it would be unthinkable for a single unit to enter one of those sites to make an arrest.

Save time

Just use the police to control the army and march in the camps with some big geesas with guns...then drag the offenders off to court, the army are designed to fight, the police arent.no worries.

ps how much for the carpet, and what size and colour is it, oh and do you fit it?
oh and are the dvds asian?

Show me a policeman/woman who isnt pissed and frustrated, confused, demoralised, bewildered and blinking well cheesed off with their hands being tied and their limited ability to deal with our travelleing friends and I reckon we would be looking at the first Pc Pikey.
These colourful people are after all fine upstanding and friendly members of our community and I think it scandalous to lay the blame at their door without sufficient proof :nod

Bloody ell. :( Now that they know that you've got quality kit, what's the chances of them coming back again?

Pretty high I would have thought. May I suggest you get one of these ....

The thievin' heartless bastoords would'nt think twice about pinchin' the mutt as well...

Story so far...........

Mark just to be clear IT WAS NOT ME If HORSE gets one before me ill get the next batch...........:D

Im loving the screw thing :thumb

PS if you still have No. 4...........

Dave, mate, one of the nicked ones was for you! Don`t beat yourself up over this as I am sure HORSE will feel your pain!

Anyway, whats this `screw` thing? Did I make you something whilst drunk :nenau meant for `grown ups` only :bounce1

So, I do have a few friends who are ex military `old comrades` (anyone here ex 20 Commando Battery RA by any chance?) who now serve as Police - they are very supportive of me and have kept a very close eye on the pogs and my gaff since the break in. they are also, and of course within the remit of the law, having `chats` with the pikey scum about `stuff`. As an aside they are just as pissed off as us about it all and normally have to pass on stuff to the council who are the real spineless gits because they wont move them on a second before they can due to human rights infringements blah blah blah but it is nearly understandable as we live in a very very mad world where terrorists DONT get sent to USA just in case they get mistreated! Oh, f*ck, Lord take me now!

I have a chain saw in my office which i will start and then chase them down the road with it revving insanely if they have the neck to walk past my place again. then my mates can lock me up!

What Nomad said with the screws

You were a drop short :blast

:jes:jes:jes you never said

Mmmmm

Good to hear from you Dave, I do miss you.

Aha about the screws - I was clueless (no change there then).

Drop short eh? Impressive seeing as a) it was a missile battery (and not guns) and b) you were RCT - `non` teeth arm or REMF as we used to refer to them as................

yeah, impressive slagging that mate............ :bounce1

looks like HORSE is getting TWO BBQ`s then :clap

By the way, are you off to Derbyshire in Sept? I think I am going but not with Gilly this time (the Honda jokes were just too much for him)

Hey Mark
I received the crud catcher you sent me. I liked the personal note however it appears that there are still some convicts left in the mother country.

Fits well; looks good. I just went to the GS 30th Anniversary Rally here and every one wanted one except the brave fool who came on a Weestrom. Oh well at least we has something to throw on the bonfire. Expect some orders.

Now what do the barby plates look like?

As an old command post sergeant I can tell you it is necessary to drop one short every now and then to keep the troops advancing in the preferred direction.

JA

aha

Hi mate, command post eh? I did my time with the BCP and RCP so i know where you are coming from.

Anyway, thanks for the recommendations and I hope to meet you soon, are you off to Derby?

The barbies are at www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk - no need to buy one, just look at them! Awesome.

Very nice!
Mark can UKGSER's (convicts) in Australia receive the discount if they are members? I have had a lot of people in our club ask me about the Crud Catcher fitted to my GSA. There are many instances of the R1200 corrosion problem here and we have only just come out of the drought!

I think Derby is closer to the UK than it is to eastern Aus! But if there's a party on just let me know when & where.

Aha

Oz, eh? Looks like a few tinnies might be few and far between eh? If you can get a bulk order together then there could be a saving on the postage cobber :roll

Its interesting reading this tonight - radio is busy reporting the outrage at the French deporting their Pikey problem. Should try living next to the b@stards for a while.

Farm near me - had a lovely old ploughshare on display as a nameplate. Pikeys arrive - ploughshare disappeared.

Better go and check me bike is locked up.

Immigrants who don't support their adopted country by paying taxes/adding skills etc should be sent home.
