Stone chipped forks

Any clues as the best coating for the fork bottoms on a 1150. They are really badly stone chipped and let the rest of the bike down. I thought of silver powder coating as an option.

Smoothrite silver looks good :thumb
 
Fork legs - Hammerite Smooth

I had a similar problem on my 1100, the answer was the same, albeit in Black :thumb

Thanks folks. I was expecting a deep and technical answer involving multiple paint types depending on air temperature and how the moon looks on the day the paint is applied.

Hammerite smooth it shall be. :thumb
