I have fitted the Nippy Norman LED rear light from my 1150 GS (non-ABS) to my 1150 GSA (ABS) and I now get a continuos ABS fault light. The lights work fine as does the ABS but I cannot get rid of the fault light.
It has been suggested that because the LEDs draw less current, the ABS picks this up as a fault. The fitting of a resistor in the circuit should fool the ABS into thinking that normal lights are fitted and so clear the ABS fault indication.
Has anybody had the same problem and if so, how & where did you connect the resistor? All help appreciated.
