Folks,

When out on the bike the other day (2011 R1200GS) i felt a strange one after changing gear it felt as if i had just let the clutch out in one go so put it down to my fault, then a wee while later it did it again.

So anyone had any experience so its a splutter that is like you just release the clutch roughly.

I have since done another 200miles and it hasn't re-occurred, while the bike is under warranty i thought i would ask in case its a fault.

Ta muchly

Sticking clutch arm ? If it's under warranty then let them sort it :nenau

Not a common fault as far as I am aware.as a GS multiple offender ive not had one do this. Mind, I might of missed it because I was too busy with other faults :D:D

I've had the slave off mine and rebuilt master cylinder. Both are simple devices the clave pushes directly on the clutch pushrod. Other than issues inside the clutch itself the only fault could be with clutch lever catching on hand guards.

make sure the gear lever pivot isnt partially seized where it goes through the frame.

My clutch mechanism has failed again. But there is no slipping. Just the opposite. :-(
