Anyone else get strange electrical type buzzing noises from the injectors when only the ignition is on before starting engine?. It stops when you move the throttle but starts again when throttle is at rest. Anyone any ideas what it is. 1250gs did it slightly but 1300 it's more pronounced.

Every day there's something this could be one of the biggest dropped bollocks of my life.I should be looking forward to my new £24,000 bike but I'm not,lost all confidence in it already and not even got it yet.I can just imagine it halfway into our Norway tour pissing it down with rain and the fucking thing won't start and needs recovering !
It's no big deal, it's just a noise & curious to know if anyone else has it or knows what causes it. It's not a show stopper.
Some of the other issues are though !
definitely the injectors, not the throttle valve?

Don't get too worried about the issues, mine is down for the new solenoid but has been working ok apart from occasionally needing a few pushes of the starter button. I've done about 1600 miles and no breakdowns. Sure you'll enjoy yours when it arrives.
Throttle bodies or injectors. It's not just mine that does it then!.
Sounds like a small servo motor trying to do something but stops as soon as I move the throttle off the fully closed position. Presume throttles being fly by wire have servos on them?? .
No problem anyway so long as they all do it.

When you start the bike the fuel system primes up, if it’s like most fuel injection systems it’s under constant pressure to the injectors with unused petrol returning to the tank, you can probably hear something like this happening
Or it could be something entirely different
Not every noise means the engine is fucked, even if you don’t know what it is, ze chermans do

That sounds feasible but they keep doing it and don't seem to get to the right position.

Seriously, you’re over thinking it
There are a few bikes that need the starter relay changing, it’s known and being sorted
There might be a problem with rear brake pad wear, this seems to be less common, we’ll see how it pans out and if it’s generalized when more folks get to first service
But believe me, the bike is superb, despite the rumors it’s not small, it’s not cramped, the pillion seat is very comfortable and the wind protection is excellent
Trust me, wait for your bike to arrive, ride it and enjoy it !

Share your concerns/hopes. Due to pick mine up mid-April, leaving for Norway back end of June to go up to NordKapp. Hopefully won’t have any need for BMW Assistance whilst I’m away.
Mine has a serious issue at the moment , it keeps knocking and knocking every time I go in the garage , it’s jumping up and down like a puppy , clicking a strange sound that seems to say something trike .. get me out of here and give me another good thrashing ,, maybe wrong but it’s annoying …, Oh well should have bought a KTM but that would have shat it’s bits on the floor before I opener the door
