streetpilot 3 update to v9

i have a streetpilot 3 and i have installed mapsource v9 , now everything works fine exept when i put in a route then my gps seems to be off -sinc with my pink route line above the actual roads ? can anyone help ?

dunno if its of any help but did you download the maps to the gps at the highest detail, i had something similar a while ago, downloaded the maps to the unit at the lowset detail level

redownloading the maps at the highest detail level fixed the problem.

Other thing to check first is if you have the unit set to offroad.

I had this when the route was calculated on v8 on the computer but v9 on the unit.

If you have any saved routes, recalculate them in Mapsource.
