Stronger wheels for the 800?

I see some people seem to bend their wheels on the F800GS, sure, they're probably more hard core than I may ever be, but nonetheless.

Woody's wheel place in the States has a good reputation in the States, but are there any recommended places in the UK to have stronger wheels made up?

Stronger wheels may not be the answer, you can get away with banging a standard rim back to some sort of shape in an emergency. If the rims are too strong you could be in deep s~~t

Talon Engineering have made wheels up for my X-Challenge, the front was a complete Talon hub and Excel rim arrangement, the rear was a standard X-challenge hub with an Excel rim.
You may be better moving up to an 18" rear rim too, with a greater selection of tyres and you can have rimlocks too....

Soft

The rims of the 800 is soft, specially the front rim.
