Struggling with getting mi leg over

Well if you can’t handle it get an RT, all the weight is low down and the the bike is lower. Or get something that you can manage, watched an Dude the other day dismount a Tiger...funniest shit I have seen in long time.

The R1250R in the picture belongs to a gentleman who is around 27” inside leg. He has a screen and panniers and went touring on the bike for over 2000 miles. Massively underrated bike...I am getting one.

I can handle it....someone sub 9 stone as tiny as that lass in that video would think differently if trying the same loaded up with a pillion. That's an accident in the making. The 1200 Tiger may be lighter than a GSA but having owned one, I can tell you it feels like a small planet just hauling one off the sidestand. Ridiculously top heavy.

The R1250R is a fantastic bike (changed my mind about the MT10 being the best fun bike about) and no doubt can tour brilliantly but perhaps without the same comfort or load capability of a GSA.

load capability of a GSA.

Over rated, you just have to be creative. Any bike can haul plenty of crap that you don’t need. Depending on your priorities...:green gri

2-up with Luggage, the GSA is spot on. Done thousands of miles touring on my own or with groups one-up and that's a different matter but I don't over-rate the capability of a purpose built tourer with the luggage capacity and comfort of the GSA. Don't disagree though about the R1250R. Would have one in a heartbeat for 80% of my travels if we had the space and money to add another.

80% of my travels

That’s why is I am going from a 1200GSLC to an 1250R, only addition will be a screen. Not mine but you can see the potential, will run rings around a GS/GSA. However any one over 5’9” will be squeezed on the bike.
In a sense is almost full circle, I used to have an R850R just like in the photo, note the luggage.

That is lovely...and very tempting! I like the road presence though of the GSA and it's slightly more laid back character and the extra weather protection. Still the best do-it-all bike I've owned.
