i cant turn the knob of my rear shock .either way...
can anyone help

I just got to mine before it went too bad, unscrew the handle, take care you don't drop the location ball that makes the clicking sound. Blast it with WD40, and then work it backwards and forwards with a 14mm spanner. I then put a 14mm socket on the end of an electric screw driver and work it up and down until it was free, cleaned it off. Tip top now.

Be carefull that the threads are not full of water when you try to turn it down cos it will hydrolickise (is that a word?) and you will strip the threads knackering it up......dont ask me how I know...:o

might sound a daft question, but is it properly located in the correct position?
ie th little peg is in the slot on th footrest hanger...
reson i ask is mine wasnt and i could only adjust it a couple of turns , i dindnt nitice this untill i removed adjuster and tried to put it back in the same place:blast hey presto full movement up n down...
the idiot who sold me the bike had moved it at some time previous to me buyin the bike:spank

i uh have removed the knob before i posted this...
during the removal of the knob...there was a sound like something small struck the exhaust and i think thats the ball....

i just sprayed it with wd 40 and leave it as it is to let the oil do its work...

still cant turn it.....

ps....
whats the size of that ball?

The ball is about 3mm (Not sure of the exact size) and it sits in a small hole on the side face of the adjuster near the top(Just above the sticker with the adjustment levels on "Low, Std, High", ect.) Its sits on top of a small spring.
Hope the WD40 has worked now its had time to soak in.
