Put on my new headers yesterday
And one if the rear bolts for the sump sheared off funny thing was i was tightening it lightly so think it had been overtightened before.
Got some pics as i thought the stud went into the engine block.
The stud comes out of a rubber mounting ?
Can you get these and how does it fit to the engine block ?

It is just an anti vibration mount.
The studs are only mild steel so not very strong.
Using a spanner on the thin hex near the casing, unscrew it an fit a new mount.

Exactly the same happened to mine with very little effort at all....must have been shagged during manufacture.

If your spanner catches the engine paint (all too likely) smear the area with the same anti seize grease.

Hi guys ordered it from bmw for £5 could have worse !
