Can I use the frame of the bike as an earth:confused: (I'm wiring in HID's in TT's fog lights).
Normally works fine on old cars I've worked on, but with the canbus I'm not sure????

Thanks,
Ollie

Yes you can, my Hella MicroDE fogs are wired with a single live feed via a relay, and a single earth to a bracket on the left hand side of the front subframe.

Like Adam said, you can BUT the best solution is a direct connection to the battery -ve (poor 'earth' connection less likely)
That can be a hassle if you have lots of electrical accessories but easily gotten around using a small connection box or 'chocblock' located somewhere convenient with one heavy duty cable to the battery.

I have one of these in my tool tray (Toratech TPS 15):

There's alternatives to the Touratech fuse/connection panel but I can't remember the names/makes right now.
