Any recomendations?

Only want to keep some cack of the engine and not go riding over boulders so cheap jobbie will do.

Currently looking at SW-Motech, but hoping I can find something cheaper for what I need (or don't need)

whats wrong with the yammy ali one rasher, works fine for me.

The price!

The SW one is cheaper by some margin, but I fancy even cheaper than that.

I have also ordered the RG downpipe protector grill thingy which should help protect the front on the engine and downpipes further.

The crap plastic thingy would be OK for me if it was a bit bigger and covered the oil filter.

SW Motech does it for me. Strong and sturdy too. The only hassle is doing a oil change, but that is the same for all of them.

Can you all please stop posting pictures of white ones with red speed blocks, they make mine look really shite.

Gotta go, need to test Tony Archer Seats and heated grip mods I have done since the snow started, sunny and 4c right now :D

Think I will go for SW sump gaurd, but want to get it powder coated, does anyone know of a company around Witney, Oxford, Banbury, Swindon area that will do small jobs like this for a good price

SW motech seems the way to go.

Could you not just paint it black using good heat resistant paint...?

Just an idea :thumb2

Rasher, please post how effective the exhaust protector is in keeping the grime off.

Cheers

Mike

It would have helped had it turned up before I went for a spin today :blast

Got home and the postie pulled up, it is a neat 1 minute install (or theft if your a glass half empty sort of fellow)

With my Arrow headers I cannot get it perfect positioned, it is either a bit high and to the right (picture) or a bit low and to the left, but only bacause the Arrows spring hooks are in the way, on the OE pipes it will probably fit better.

I still think a bash plate will be needed, but this may compliment that nicely and give a really comprehensive level of protection.

Thanks for that.

From your picture it looks like they just clip onto the pipes. Is that right?
