It is on the 29th - I've tried to tidy up the thread to reflect the change of date - see details in first postit says 30th but then 29th?

TBH that is not very likely as I haven't got my stamina levels back yet and the drugs I am on cause bad cramps when I get too cold/tired
I've not been on a trail ride for over 5 months - I'm hoping to get out on a very gentle bimble around Basingstoke/Alton/Explorer 144 area on the GSA on 27th or 28th, depending on weather. I'll see what happens if I survive that

Nowt wrong with learning more routes in my neighbourhood.
Would be great if you do mix some of the 144/Alton stuff, but hey! whatever... As long as I'm out on the bike, I'm cool.

... and you bladder control isn't that great when the weather's warm. If it's cold, we'd be stopping every 5 minutes!

30+ new lanes
Guys,
I spent some time last night looking for and entering more than 30 "new" lanes into the GPS. I don't know the status of all of them but there looks to be some good ones so hopefully we'll have plenty to keep us busy on the day.

Mooky, don't even think about it unless you are a GOD on a bike.... An Adv with TKC's (or similar) would be a big handful....
I'm also going to be checking out some new lanes on this ride so wouldn't be able to let you know which ones where suitable or not.

Let me clarify, as I'm not sure this came out the way it was supposed to....
This ride is do-able but very hard work on a GS with off-road tyres. It is not do-able, in my opinion, on Tourances, Trail Wings, etc.
