As the title suggests, this is for GS type motorcycles or similar, no small trail bikes! The date for the trail ride is Saturday 3rd July 2010
I rode the route today and most of the trails have now been re-graded (with a bulldozer I guess). It was quite an easy ride but mind you, it has been dry for a while. Even the difficult steep chalky byway going north from Abinger Hammer has been graded and given a light dusting of gravel for exceptional grip. It would really help if knobbly tyres are fitted to your bike, but if you're confident (riding God), then dual purpose trail tyres will suffice, providing it's been dry for a few days prior to the ride. If it's been very wet, I may have to re-schedule the ride.
The route is a fantastic trail ride through some beautiful countryside, mostly forest and woodland and we won't be ripping up the trails by tearing along. We meet up at Newlands Corner car park near Guildford on the A25 - Dorking Road.

Be there or miss out on a fun day. Look forward to about 60/70 miles of dirt with a stop at a pub half way round for lunch. I'll be using my HP2.
The start time is at 10:00 and expect to be back at the car park for 15:00. Please be there with plenty of time to leave at the scheduled start time. Note once again, no small trail bikes in this group.
For those of you going to Bakerman's Hograost 2nd - 4th July 2010. This would be something to do on the Saturday and is not a million miles from the event.
Please put a posting here if you intend to come along.
