Surrey Trail Ride (Wombat Hunt) - Sunday 1 March 2009

Thanks to Blue Sweeper for this morning.

I ducked out at lunch time - a combination of tiredness and poor tyres.

I would also like to thank Greg for helping me to get unlost!!!

I hope that Nigel is able to sort his mirror and straighten his bars without too much agg!

Greg - the bars are straights its the bolt that holds them on that is bent!

I am going to get rid of the mirrors as well - one less thing to worry about

Roy, thanks for a great route around the lanes.

Thanks Greg for waiting to make sure I was ok every time I konked out.

And lastly thanks to Nick for taking a picture of me sprawled out on the chalk hill after my sideways descent

My right leg is now somewhat more 'toned' than my left!

All in all I had a great day even if I am starting to feel a bit stiff

Still; a glass or 3 should sort that out

Can't wait to see the pics.

Sorry about the delay....
Tony's 450 (the one that broke down) was terminal, he had blown a piston ring ...that pressurised the crank and forced oil up the breather into the air box.....
We towed him back on the 'foot peg to footpeg' method.... long way to come for 3 miles of lanes....
....maybe next time.....
