30mph speed limit on BYWAYS

Oh yeh, where does it say that then Steve?

BYWAYS are unclassified roads and so the national speed limit applies, but if you were to have an accident and hit a third party, I guess you could be driving without due care.

In reality though, most of the time we don't go much faster than about thirty, although it feels faster!

There's a byway in North Hertfordshire that has a deristricted sign at the start - we have quality ROW officers down here

Ah, just read the bit about the 9th being the fast run! I'm definitely not that standard so I'll have to try and make the 16th.

OK, just so everyone is clear.

The ride tommorow on the 9th is for trail bikes only and will be a FAST run.

Sunday the 16th will be a more leisurely ride and is open to all. GS bikes more than welcome.

Due to a crisis at Daughters home (DIY Dad to the rescue), I will be unable to lead this rideout. Therefore, the event this Sunday 16th is cancelled unless someone else wants to lead it.

Thanks for leading a good ride, it's the first time i've been able to run the XChallenge pretty much head to head with those ktm's, and it seemed to cope pretty well all things considered!
