Sorry chaps:mad: gonna have to miss this one. I'll be in Manchester working, working there from the Saturday thru' to wednesday.

Have a good day everyone, and I hope to make the next one.:D

Me too. What's the drill? Is it OK for a relative off-road noob? I've done quite a lot of rough tracks/trails/gravel and some sand on the 1150 but never been greenlaning in the UK. Suzuki DR350 OK?

Roy, much as I'd love to, I can't do this one because my DR-Z is mostly spread over my garage floor awaiting the arrival of a new generator.

:hammer

Another one to join in, if that's okay.

I'm either brave or stupid (with me,probably the latter) as I'll be on an 1150 GSA.

I'm not the most nimble of riders - So I'll be at the very back (more than likely).

i'm stil going on the SE, just to prove it doesnt always sit in the garage.

Anyone know of any road legal tyres for a GS that are more aggressive than TKC80's.

The metzeler "Karoo T" is similar, or maybe marginally more aggressive than the TKC 80.

The Metzeler "Karoo" is the edge interms of still being street legal ... its a fair bit more dirt biased than the TKC.

Both come in 1200GS fitments

I really fancy this, but only have an 1100 with tourances to ride, will I survive or should I get some TKCs?

If it's wet then you WILL need some knobbly tyres, otherwise some of the lanes will feel like you are riding on a soapy surface.:D

There is one lane that is fairly difficult for big GS's but I can route you round this on road.:thumb

I now ride a KTM Super Enduro R and I ended up fitting a rear Karoo. Seems to grip perfectly well in the wet so far....
I have a used set of Tkc's that came off my 1200 before I sold it. Anyone who want's them can have em.
Theyre the same size as 1100 or 1150 GS tyres.
I'm defo coming on Sunday.
The 950 is so much easier off road than the 1200GS.
Not sure if it counts as a pogo. It's certainly not an adventure bike. the tank range is pathetic.
It's worth it though.:green gri

Early start

Anyone coming from or past the Reading area and want to get an early start and a few lanes in on the way to newlands corner???

If so gimme a shout...

jarv
