Apart from a bit of clutch drag, hence the clonk into 1st gear my gearbox seems to be getting sweeter and sweeter as time goes on - after 11,000 miles all my gear changes are really pretty slick both going up and down the box - the gearbox on my LC is probably now sweeter and more precise and far less 'sloppy' and agricultural than either of my previous air-cooled 1200s - seems to me that these bikes take a while to break in
I wonder how it will fare over the next 20,000 miles or so before I replace it for the next new model?
