Second time I am breaking a switch for my external light
I cannot find a good set of switches (one for the flasher, one for the Touratech fog) that I could use on my bike. BTW the Touratech switch is absolute crap.

Now I am thinking about using this :

Does it work with a 1200GS ?

Do you have any better idea about switches ?

Ok, an Autoswitch (cancel version) will not work...

By any chance, does anyone knows the switch amperage used by the Touratech fog light system ?
I am trying to find a replacement switch and the company ask me about the amperage used...

the AS5 will not work, it has something to do with our way too much "computerized" motorcycles. Raul from Autoswitch says that the high beam trigger does work with a 1200GS... As he is riding a 1200GS I tend to believe him

In a few months, they should have a digital version of the Autoswitch. In the mean time...

I just do not like the idea of flashing my HID in order to switch on my fog ...

You don't need an AutoSwitch, you don't need a heavy switch, you use a relay and wire the lights "direct" to the battery through it.

If you want to set your lights so that they are foglights, you take a line from the +ve on the headlight into a switch and then into a relay. You connect the relay to the foglight and the other side direct to teh battery. When you operate the switch, the amount of current required to activate the relay is not enough to effect the CAN system.

If you want spotlights, you do the same but take the switch line off the +ve on the main beam.

I have a fog, a HID (both TT), and a flasher.
The HID is on when I high beam. I still need 2 switches, one for my flasher and one for my fog.

I thought that a few months would be less than four

Have you heard anything from them yet?
