Just wondered if some of the IT crowd in here could clarify something for me?
At work I am using a networked system with XP.
An essential bit of software went bang on monday and I could log into it using colleagues PC or the remote access app, just my bloody desktop that wouldn't run.
So four days, three technicians, endless webchats, phone calls, removing software, reinstalling I am instructed to run system restore and it works.
So the question is should system restore be the first or last port of call?
