Sytner Motorrad Shrewsbury Showroom Closed.

The BMW UK website says the Showroom is now closed permanently, but the service & parts elements remain open.

Seems a strange way of handling a closure, hardly conducive to the Motorrad customer experience. It must be less than 2 years since Sytner (Penske) took over Rybrook at Shrewsbury, when they were looking to expand their premium car franchises across the West Midlands.

It does seem odd the way they have done this. There has been nothing on their social media and as a fairly recent customer for service, I would have though they would have made some effort to let me know the workshop service is still available.

I can understand the rationale, with their branch in Wolverhampton 30 miles away and HJ in Chester 65 miles away, perhaps just not enough sales for three retail outlets in that triangle.

Well, I have never been there but was intending to have my bike serviced by them until the warranty is up.

Shrewsbury is a reasonable decent ride for me and a nice town.

When I had my previous bmw under warranty I used Wolverhampton but....

The town is ugly and the ride there is unpleasant

Demon Reeves hadn’t had the chance to screw up everyone’s business operating model two years ago.
Something has to crumble with her inglorious tricks. 👍

I was notified, but probably because I’m on their mailing list and purchased from Shrewsbury. My impression was the car side of the business never liked scruffy bikers being there....spoils the aspirational look for those PCPing on a 70k car :ROFLMAO:
