Taking out original baffle

No nice cans are available locally here in Malaysia. I read the stuff about taking the cat out and have a plan to do that.

Can the original baffle be taken out of the BMW exhaust can?

I'm after a little more noise, not too bothered about the power as its enough already, but something a little more throaty and...well something to listen to?

anybody tried playing with the existing 12 can? mine is an 06 bike.

i've seen a 1200 belonging to guy from this site (mark71?). he'd cut the cat in half, removed the innards, then welded it up again.

looked neat, sounded good and cost little. might be the way to go?

Thanks cookie, I have Marks description and photos, cat removal is on my list. Next would be the baffle if its possible to get out?
