Agree with all of the above.
It was mentioned but 'he' remained tight lipped. Yes a report on the bike was provided, iirc.
I some how think a ride report may of been in poor taste.

With tens of thousands of LC's now sold to the general public, if this was such a big issue, why have we heard of ZERO dramatic tank slappers from owners?![]()
You sure about that?

Interesting that all the conspiracists on here have either never ridden one, or only ridden one for an hour or two.![]()

FFS ..
If you buy a Fireblade, it has a steering Damper. The original Blade didn't have one but as it's evolved, Honda have put one on. Does that mean there's a fault with the bike? That the steering is twitchy? That it's dangerous??
No. It's just a powerful bike that has enough va va voom to get it's front end light over slight crests and rises in the road.
And now we have a GS that has a bit of performance - enough to shake its head (like the fireblade) in the right circumstances.
Why have BM decided to put a steering damper on it?? Because the like of you lot and a few Journos are bumping yer gums that shock horror, Oh My God I got the bike crossed up coming over a rise in the road. They're just trying to keep you happy ...![]()

They put it on because it's a death trap, a widow maker. Be afraid, be very afraid; only a real man can tame it.
