New to Oilheads, valve clearances spot on & replaced all oils, plugs & filters on my 2000 1150.
Can anyone confirm the following:
I assume that if the TB's need adjusting, you adjust the tickover screw by the cable pulleys on the throttle bodies?
I'm sure I've read that you adjust the right TB only, leaving the left TB alone, to bring it in line with the left TB as the left is fitted with the TPS?
I've read that the brass air screws should both be 1.5 turns out from being screwed fully in? Is this still the case when the bike's fitted with a Y-piece & Remus or just for standard pipes?
If it's an Air Screw & the pilot mixture is weak, I assume that you turn it in by a fraction as it controls air as opposed to screwing it out as you would on a jap carb where the pilot mixture screw normally controls fuel, not air?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
