I have a LAMPF on my 2013 GSA. This happened a few years ago, in France, and a local Ducati mechanic, with small hands, changed the lamp for me and all was well.
It came up again last summer so I thought I'd better change it for its MOT. As before I couldn't get my hand in to fix the securing clip so I've just taken the screen off and dismantled the headlight unit for access - and that worked. However, I've now got no 12V + at the yellow wire to the light and, I believe, this all comes from the ZFE unit (what and wherever that is) via the light switch (which I haven't taken apart yet but may be next).
Has anyone else had this 12 volt failure at their dip light?
All help gratefully receive.

TIA.

Not the same but I had a problem with the average mile and range etc resetting to zero each time I turned the ignition off.
I'd had the headlight out previous. I took it out again and checked the wiring connectors giving them a spray of wd40 and it never did it again.
Have a look at the block connectors to see if they are fitted well.

I've checked the voltage at the block connector and I'm not getting the 12V+ I should be.

With the engine running. As the headlight only comes on once started?
You're a star! Thank you very much as it does, indeed, work with the engine running!
It never occurred to me to try that as the main beam (solid on and flashing) both work with the ignition off so I assumed it would be the same for the dip.
Now just to put it all back together and then get the screen on too!
If I had wee hands I'd have been able to do it without dismantling anything!

Cool. Glad I helped a little in the end. 👍🏻😁

look from the top reach in from below - done it loads of times - the filaments pop like silver fulminate (0.08 to 0.20 milligrams) with coarse sand (200 milligrams), twisted into tissue paper, thrown on the floor
