Just got received my boots, with free pair of Oxford socks. Boots are really good, first day of hard rain and feet bone dry!!
Would defo recommend them to anyone.
£179 from gear4bikers.co.uk

Top boots, feel robust but are fine to walk around in, got mine nearly new on here for £100

TCX Infinity boots are spot on!

I bought mine 15,000 miles ago at last year's MCN (London, Docklands) Show for £140. They're excellent (waterproofing, warmth & comfort on and off the bike). Only improvement would be an ability to fix the adjustable (ski boot-style) strap settings, but only a minor concern.

Hey Guys,
I'm looking at getting some new boots and these seem to be well recommended.
What are they like in the summer, do they get too hot?

TCX Infinity

Yeah, I've heard many great things about these boots.
Desperate to try, to get the size right.
Anyone know if they are sold retail anywhere, rather than web/post?
As near to Scotland as possible would be an advantage:augie

I think Pieman is right
Just got a HG book and their Rallye 2 goretex boots (page 169) look pretty much the same.

Design is a bit different but looks essentially the same boot.
They are £200.
I would go and look tomorrow but the staff are useless at my local store :blast

I'll probably go BMW and see if they can do me a deal, you never know..

Let us know how you get on JJ. BMW showroom up the road from me.

Yep TCX Infinity is a fantastic boot, after reading many reviews I bought a pair from local bike shop (Riders of Bridgwater). asked for discount and got them for £170.
worth trying on though as the fit is narrow so go for 1 size bigger. just breaking in nicely now after a couple of months - very comfy even to walk in - waterproof - look good - and ready to tour the alps in July !!

TCX Infinity, HG Rallye 2 & BMW Santiago are basically the same boot.

I looked at all 3, discounted the BMW on price and took the TCX over the HG version as I think they're better looking.

Had mine for a couple of months now and very happy.

Do need a bit of breaking in, as stiff at first, but would recommend.

Helmet City also sell them......

Just bought a pair from J&S Accessories in Greenwich London (www.jsaccessories.com) Priced at £210 managed to get them to price match the web for £180.

Riding London to Shetland and back over the next 8 days so should get a good idea of how good they are in all weathers. Will post my thoughts later.

www.forthgear.co.uk in sunny South Queensferry...:)

I got mine (BMW Santiago version) in a dealers sale five years ago for £125.00. Five years and 40k miles later they are still perfectly waterproof and still perfectly comfortable. Probably the best quality riding kit I have ever bought. :thumb2

Just done a 600 mile round trip in one day with these boots. They are great and not too hot in this hot weather. Even look good under a pair of jeans when out for the evening after a days on the bike.

a few more miles in and they are still a great pair of boots. Driven down the motorway in the rain and the socks were still dry at the end of it. :-)

Ta Schtum,
Never been in that one
Will be paying them a visit.
