TE sat-nav mount question??

After having my Zumo 550 fitted to my TE for over a year I need to refit the standard sat-nav mount to take my new Nav4 but do you think I can find the 2nd smaller plug on the bike? Can someone have a look at there bike and let me know, a photo would be great! Any help would be great as I spent all evening trying to find the mount in the loft then looking for the plug, so stressed now!

I had a similar problem - ended up phoning the dealer.
He said the second plug was an audio one for bikes with the built in speakers (RT's I think). Plays music from the Nav through the bike speakers instead of bluetooth.
They said on the GS it does nothing - and my Nav V works fine without it plugged in - wheel works OK, etc.
I just tucked it away behind the fairing.

Pretty sure this is true, when I took the Nav V mount off and replaced it with the Zumo550 mount I noticed that the other lead was not connected to anything on the GS. I did wonder if it could be used as an audio out from the Nav V but no idea if this is possible, or even if the navigation instructions come out as well as the music.

If that is right shame they don't offer an optional lead to connect to an intercom, ipod etc!

Hi ive got a te on order I havent purchased the nav as yet, are the ones mentioned the nav 4 and five a refrence to the standard bmw item as I see one mentioned still able to use the wheel with it or are they diffrent navs that are compatible with the te's standard nav mount

The wheel is only usable with BMW Nav IV or Nav V you can use a Garmin 660 in the mount but wheel won't work
