Some questions, thought some guru might know the answer,
1, Can you run a BB chip and Techlusion R259 together?
2, Is there any benefit from running both?
3, If best to run just one which is best?
Thanks
Noel
PS my bike has large intake, remus, K&N and RS inlet tubes.

No.....

Noel.....

Advice I was given by the TFI fellas was not to use with any other gubbins ie. BB chip.

I would use the TFI unit `cos you can keep richening it up. That could be important with your big intake (Fnar)... :D

If you decide to go the TFI way give me a shout and I will give you the benefit of my experience mate..... ;)

Can even help show you how to set it up...... ;)

Thanks for your reply, I guess I may aswell sell the BB chip then. Help in setting it up would be great I have a multimeter but I don't think it's accurate enough to set the Techlusion box up with.

Two sorts of TFI unit. One plugs straight in, the other takes a little more time connecting.

I have a digital multimeter that will do the job of reading the settings.

If you can afford it you should get the bike dynoed before and then at some point after. you can then see the benefit.

My bike was running lean after fitting a Y piece and can but didnt feel as though there was a problem. After I fitted the TFI unit you could realy feel the difference, loads more grunt all the way through the revs and felt as though it would pull a train.

The beauty of the unit is that you can try different settings then take it for a ride and see how it goes.

I`ve even turned it right up for a while but the petrol consumption was scary.

Noel you have my number. Just give me a bell anytime and we`ll make some arrangements mate. Or PM me if you like........ :thumb
