I had a bit of a chat with Stephan, the editor of Ride magazine at Princetown. He seemed a very decent sort of guy and had a lot of interesting stuff about the 1200.
He had a 1200 with an Ackropovich exhaust on it and was commenting on the lean running problems with the full Remus system, a problem which he said BWM were completely aware of.
Remus are supposed to be coming out with some sort of FI unit as are Techlusion.
I spoke to George of DoBeck Performance in Montana today, they manufacture the Techlusion unit. He confirmed that the unit would be available in quantity in late October but only via Wunderlich (read SPC).
He also said that he had run a 1200 with full Remus and the Techlusion unit and it fully addresses the issue.
As a slight aside an Advrider member who had a 'trial' unit fitted to his 12 claims 95bhp at the wheel!
Just thought this may interest some people.
