having got to take the telelever arm off to get to seized alternator housing bolts the front end is off but I cant find the size of allen key (or similar ) to fit in the left hand side of the telelever arm , Read the previous threads on this (now closed ) and the manuals but cannot find what size fitment is needed - help

You just remove the ECUs and maybe the diagonal support bars

Brilliant , thanks , just been out and got the alternator off , loosened the right diagonal support bar ( snapped head off one of the bolts though , another job on the list of things to fix ) and pulled it out of the way , ecu's fold over to the left very easily , can get to alternator bolts relatively easy and the alternator is now sitting on my desk ready to order its replacement - should have asked the question in the first place rather than reading the manuals - dur

My steering headstock A frame is rusting so I'll soon be having it out for powder coating. I'll (hopefully be able to) remove and grease the alternator bolt while in there.
