I have my iPhone 4 paired to my Zumo 660 and the 660 paired to my BT headset. The media player plays fine but the phone quality is so poor it's unuseable. Very crackled and intermittent sound. I've re-paired the BT headset to the 660 and the phone to the 660 but it's still the same.

Any ideas?

what is it like when the phone is just connected to the headset?

might be better with a cable tween the 660 and phone?

I plan on getting a Sena SMH5 soon/eventually. I think then I can pair the Zumo & the iPhone to the Sena separately. I won't be able to see who's calling but I get a call very infrequently so not a problem.
I just like stuff to WORK

I tried this when I first got my SMH5. Paired the phone to the Zumo (Nav IV) then to the SMH5. Sound was bloody awful. Then I paired straight to the phone and the Nav separately, and the phone works much better. Eventually stopped pairing with the Nav as the poor sound and directions just when I didn't want them started to piss me off :) The other good thing is that you can also use the SMH5 via SR10 to connect to a radio.

Yep, it seems the Zumo is at fault for the bad phone quality. I've contacted them and all they say is make sure all the items are using the latest firmware.
I've found out that the Zumo & the iPhone hog both a HFP & A2DP profile when connected. The SMH5 has 2 HPF profiles you can connect to but only 1 A2DP. So connecting both independently to an SMH5 isn't possible for the use I was hoping from them - music & directions from Zumo, phone from iPhone.

You are correct, but if you wanted to connect like this you can connect the Phone using multipoint pairing (so it is only HPF no A2DP) and use the Zumo for both. Again I tried this and music via the Zumo was terrible. You are probably better off connecting the phone using phone pairing (HPF and A2DP), and the Zumo using multipoint pairing (HPF only). I think this will do what you want with the best results.
