Owned a 2018 model for three years, hence buying this one. One of the best all round bikes EVER IMHO.Nice bikes. I had one for 4 years. Great touquey engine. Luved the way you can surprisingly exelerate resonably well from 30 in top gear or be a hooligan and rev the nuts out of it.
Get that running in done![]()
My Mrs totally agrees with your mrs ; she prefers the SX over the GS or my old ZZR;; there's some cracking deals to be had on the SX and the 900 rs at the moment;Wifey insisted ( genuinely ) that I bought another Ninja1000SX...so here she is.

I rented one of those (Tmax) in Phuket couple years ago. What a hoot for a scooter!!Still got a hankering for one of these, would need to sell my Tmax (two wheeled Swiss Army knife).
Good aren’t they ! In my case, I felt initial regret trading in a litre sports bike for my scoot, but within a few days I had warmed to its character and its practicality. There is little on the road than can match it for a dash to the shops or a commute through heavy UK traffic from town to town. It can really hustle.I rented one of those (Tmax) in Phuket couple years ago. What a hoot for a scooter!!
I know, my wife has a Vespa 300 and I shamefully admit to riding it more often than either of my behemothsGood aren’t they !
