Going for a second demo ride tomorrow.
Having purchased many new bikes in my time going for a second demo ride is something I've never done before.
Why you may ask ?
Well,I think after the first test ride I did come away in the belief that overall the LC is a better bike than my TC.
What I need to determine this time with a more objective approach is, does the LC suit my riding style more than the TC ?

Al ???? If yes was at Kearys Friday when you collected your bike. Collected mine in Red Sat AM and the ride home to Drogheda was amazing. Called Alan and your bike in grey with the spoked wheels looked so fantastic I asked him when he could get me one. He thinks Im nuts. Enjoy the bike Al.Great pics..EdFinally got my thunder grey with wire wheels. Absolutely delighted so far. The attention to detail on the bike is the best I have ever come across. The dealer experience wasy enjoyable and pain free. Big thanks to Alan at keary's. I will post a few photos when I figure out how to resize them. I did try to add the ones I took today with my phone. Off to kerry for the weekend so I should have a few scenic photos to share( assuming I figure it out).

I read sooty09's review and to be honest thought that he must have been riding a different bike to to one I rode.
I agreed with a lot of what he said i.e gear lever,dashboard etc,but to say that there was very little difference between the new 1200 and his 09 1200 was a bit like saying that I'm as good looking as Daniel Craig and those who know me will know what I mean.

I had ordered my GS form Duffys and decided to check Kearys to make sure the retail price was correct. Duffys were 250 Euro more on the recommended retail and when asked to explain the difference they really got on my tits. Spoke to Alan and he was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and helpful and cheaper. Its a pain the ass riding to Cork from Drogheda but I LIKE dealing with Alan O Connor. Have a great time Al. Im back in Cork Sat for 1st service. Off to the Mourne mountains today

Enjoy your spin, I spent some time in that area last october on a spin, did cooley penninsula aswell, my sister lives up north. Great area for a trip. I'm still in kerry so will take a scenic spin home through cork. All the best alan.

Take your time, you've a good bike in your TC and is it worth £5k extra
I want to be out riding my bike in the week in the sunshine, but am stuck at work.
Then it rains all weekend and the wife wants to spend time together
Snowing up here yesterday and pissing it down today. Pics and bike look great. Looking forward to first service out of the way to open her up. Tis an amazing bike to ride and LC just brought GS into 21st century with style and performance. Good luck Al and enjoy
