That didn't take long

and it's a lot better than only out a few months and grounded :)

I've not read of a single 1190 being returned to the dealer for replacement on the KTM forum.

No crunchy gearbox issues.
No frame issues or broken headstocks.
No weeping coolant from the crank cases

I'm trying to think what it is they say about attack being the first defence?
Perhaps someone could help me out ........

perhaps you didn't read what you posted?

There is no formal word from KTM about these modifications to the 1190 Adventure model, or whether the changes will be for 2015 or 2016.

Of course I did. It must be annoying for current owners that there is already a new model in development, be it this year , or next.:nenau

Who's attacking?:nenau I'm certainly not, I'm just pointing out that there is a new version coming, in case anyone's about to buy one and hadn't seen the article. I'd say your comment about gearboxes etc is more attacking than my post.:rob

Oh no, I was just pointing it out in case someone on here was thinking of buying one that hadn't read one of the many many posts complaining about it......... :thumb

weren't people banned from the toilet section for trolling? shouldn't a Mod be expected to follow the rules he imposes???

FFS, how am I trolling? I put a link to a news article on MCN.:rob Did I make any derogatory comments?:nenau

You lot are far too sensitive in here.:comfort

the fact that KTM more or less chopped a grand off the price recently was a bit of a give away perhaps?

i find it a little bit annoying, but then i come from years of bmw ownership :D

It's not as though the WC GS hasn't had a raft of updates, from 2013>2014

If you buy a new WC GS, how the feck do you know which version you'll get

I just pray that nutty never buys a kTm.... his vomit inducing love for all things bmw would make me sell my 1190 if he switched brands and embraced the orange side :)

Doesn't bother me in the slightest if they are working on a revised model, in fact given I part-ex my bike every 2-3 years for a replacement (used as year round commuter), I'm pleased they are investing in further development. Should be about ready for when my mid 2013 model needs to be updated! :beerjug:
