Now it’s time for a shimmy.
Put the shims back how it came out of the box a few weeks ago. (I took some pics to make sure I didn’t forget).


The wear on the selector forks was really nice and even, so I’m hoping it can go back in with no messing.
So pop it in the box, stick the back plate on and check how far you can move the barrel up and down with your finger through the output shaft bearing. We’re looking for hardly anything,
And we get about 1mm. Bugger. No more gearbox build today, let’s get some shims ordered up.
