If anybody wants any as a sticker Ade may be able to sort this out.

Yeh re: the stickers looking at getting a run of 10 done width 75mm... will let you know the cost when i get the info...

Am struggling getting hold of the campsite in nancy to book camping and the lake como site... will try again tomorrow..

Don't worry about the Nancy site, I have a copy of an email informing me 4 people won't be a problem.

I've just fired an email off to Chiara in Como with the updated rider's list.
I've added your name & told them you're trying to get in touch.

Will inform you when I get a reply.

OK guys, here's the situation with Hotel Fernblick in Fiss.

At the time I originally enquired it was just to see if we could pop-in on our way past & to see if we needed to book.
When Andi, the owner, said he had vacancies I just booked for 3 guys, didn't mention any sleeping arrangements.
He got back to me with 1 single & 1 double.
After contacting you guys yesterday I emailed Andi to ask if we could change that to 3 singles & to inform him Ade was getting in touch & also looking for a room.

Andi replied to Ade & sent me a courtesy copy this morning..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello Adrina! :eek
I have one more double room free at this time.
You can reserve it to a single-room for € 38,-- with breakfast inkl. taxe. Normal it ist a room for 2 persons so the price is a little bit higher. If this is ok please send me your confirmation.
So total we have for 4 guys one double and two single rooms.
I hope it is ok for the group.
Best greetings to all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sounds like we got in just in time.
Ade's got the double which he sorted out for himself. :thumb2
I'll get the single.
& Steve 'n Stu can share the Brokeback Mountain Suite if that's OK. :)

Andi says Hi. :rolleyes:

Any thoughts anyone on the stickers.

Also any chance of a meet up one weekend for a ride at leats for the three 'northerners'?

I recon both stickers look the part. :thumb2

I'd be happy with either stuck to my panniers, superb.

:thumb2

In the middle of my block of shifts atm, working next weekend as well Ade. :mad:

Looking at my rota & I have one weekend free before our trip, July 17th & 18th.
I'll be in The Peaks on the 15th.

Midweek - I have loads of time off. :D

Watching the Cycling Tour of Switzerland atm on Eurosport, pack your waterproofs. :)

my Pyrenees / Alps trip....

Hi guy's
hope you have a great time good luck with it all, :hijacked myself i am off on the 14th August from portsmouth to Bilbao, doing the Pyrenees then up to monaco and into the French Alps from there, through into Switzerland through the Swiss Alps then through to the Austrian Alps and on to Eifel in Germany for a whizz around the Nurburg ring. Due to return via calais on 2nd September. camping :camping or b+b so if anyone else was thinking of a trip you're more than welcome to tag along, nothing except the outbound date is set in stone so give me a shout :thumb

I just hope it warms up !! It has been raining here (more or less solidly) for 7 weeks.
It's currently 9 degrees! It's bleeding freezing - and there is fresh snow on the mountains !
Forecast is for it to start warming up tomorrow (19) and 24 by the w/e !!

Ade,Phil i like both stickers but i think the rectangular one will go better on the panniers. Might be struggling for a weekend day before the trip but i'll look at my duties 2moro. i'm still on for the peak district overnighter. There are quite a few good routes round there( Cat and fiddle,Snake etc) :)
